Read and Reply to Your Reviews

Every LessonPro review comes from a phone confirmed by SMS. How to read new reviews, reply in public and what to do about an unfair review.

Parents who read your reviews also see your replies. A short, polite reply shows you care about your students. You can read and answer every review in the LessonPro app.

Every new review on LessonPro comes from a phone number we confirmed with an SMS code, and each number can review you only once. Those reviews carry a Verified student label.

Where new reviews appear

When someone reviews you, you see it in three places:

  • A push notification, "New review", with the star rating, if notifications are on. Turn on notifications.
  • Recent activity on your dashboard, one line with the stars. Tap it to open the review.
  • Reviews under Tools. The gold badge counts reviews you have not replied to yet.

Open Reviews to see them all, newest first. Each one shows the stars, the reviewer's name, the date, the subject and the start of the review. A Reply label means you have not answered. Replied means you have.

Write a reply

  1. Tap a review to open it in full.
  2. Under Reply, type your answer.
  3. Tap Post reply.

Your reply shows in public under the review, on your profile in the app and on the website. To change it later, tap Edit beside Your reply, change the text and tap Save reply. A reply can be up to 500 characters.

What to write:

  • Thank them by name. "Thank you, Akosua. Kofi worked hard on fractions this term."
  • Be specific. Mention the subject or the result. It shows other parents what you teach.
  • Keep it short. Two or three sentences are enough.
  • Never share private details. No phone numbers, prices or the student's school.

On the website, open the Reviews tab on your dashboard and use Reply to this review.

An unfair or fake review

A low rating hurts, but an angry reply hurts more. Other parents will see how you answered.

If the review is honest but harsh: reply calmly. Thank them, accept what is fair, and say what you have changed. "Thank you for the feedback. Every lesson now ends with a short written summary."

If you believe the review is fake, abusive or about someone else: do not argue in the reply. Message us on WhatsApp with your LessonPro code and the reviewer's name and date. Our terms say reviews must be honest and based on real lessons, and we can remove reviews that are fraudulent or abusive. We look at each case. We cannot promise to remove a review because you disagree with it.
