Save Parents and Students as Clients

Phone contacts mix the families you teach with everyone else you know. Clients in the LessonPro app gives the parents and students you teach their own list, with what each one has paid and what they still owe.

Clients are saved on LessonPro, linked to your account. They are never added to your phone's contacts, and parents cannot see the list.

Save a client from an invoice or receipt

You save a client while you bill them:

1. Start a New invoice or a New receipt.
2. Type the Student or parent name and their phone number.
3. Once the number is a valid Ghana number, a Save as client button appears under it. Tap it.
4. The button changes to Saved as client.

Next time, tap Pick a client at the top of the form. The name and number fill in for you.

If the number is already saved, the button says Saved client instead.

The Clients list: Owes, Paid, Not saved

On your dashboard, under Tools, tap Clients.

The list shows everyone you saved, plus people you recently invoiced, gave a receipt to, or accepted a lesson from. Newest activity comes first. Each row has the name, the phone number and up to three labels:

• Owes, with an amount, when they have invoices sent but not paid.
• Paid, with the total they have paid you.
• Not saved, when they are in your history but not on your saved list. Tap Save on the row to add them. If there is no phone number, the row says Add a phone number to save.

Use Search by name or phone at the top to find a family fast.

Client history and a new invoice in one tap

Tap a client to open them. You see:

• their name, phone number, and round WhatsApp and Call buttons
• Paid, Owes and the number of Invoices
• New invoice and New receipt buttons, with the name and number already filled in
• a Private note (only you see it), such as "Pays by MoMo on the 1st" or "Two children, JHS 1 and JHS 3"
• History: every invoice and receipt for this family, newest first. Tap one to open it.

To take someone off your saved list, tap Remove saved client at the bottom and confirm. Their invoices and receipts stay, and they may still appear in the list from that history.
