Tutor Sign In With an SMS Code

Sign in to the LessonPro tutor app with your phone number and a 6-digit SMS code. No password. What to do if the code is late or the number is not found.

LessonPro has no passwords. You sign in with the phone number on your tutor profile, and we text a 6-digit code to that number to prove it is you. The same number works in the LessonPro app and on the website.

Sign in with your phone number

In the app:

  1. Tap the Tutor tab at the bottom. The Tutor sign in screen opens.
  2. Type the phone number you joined with, for example 024 123 4567.
  3. Tap Send me the code.
  4. The app greets you by your first name. Type the 6-digit code from the SMS into Code from the SMS.
  5. Tap Sign in. Your dashboard opens.

The app keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. When that time is nearly up, the dashboard warns you a day before, so you can sign in again at a quiet moment. A tour of your dashboard.

On the website:

  1. Go to getlessonpro.com/login, or tap Tutor sign in at the top or bottom of any page.
  2. Type your phone number and tap Send code.
  3. Type the code into Verification code and tap Sign in.

On the website you stay signed in only in that browser tab. Close the tab and the next visit asks for a new code.

The code did not arrive

Every code works for 10 minutes. If nothing comes:

  • Wait a minute. SMS can be slow on some networks.
  • Check the number you typed. It must be the Phone Number from your application, not a WhatsApp number you added separately.
  • Check your phone has signal, and that it is not blocking messages from unknown senders. Our texts come from "LessonPro".
  • Typed the wrong number? Tap Use another number in the app, or Use a different number on the website, and start again.
  • Still nothing after a few minutes? Request a new code. If that fails too, WhatsApp us with your LessonPro code (it starts with LP) and we will check.

"No tutor profile uses this number"

This message means we could not find a tutor with that number.

  • You have not joined yet. Tap Become a Tutor. Joining is free and takes 6 steps. How to become a tutor.
  • You joined with a different number. Try your other numbers. The code always goes to the number you applied with.
  • Your number has changed. You cannot sign in with a new SIM on your own, because the code goes to the old number. Message us on WhatsApp or email hello@getlessonpro.com, and we will help you move your profile to the new number.
